God’s blessing of Eve’s womb turned into a curse when she and Adam disobeyed God’s command. Adam and Eve gave birth to misbegotten children, who in turn gave birth to more misbegotten children. God created a wedge to break into this vicious cycle: parents who set the conditions to bring forth purely begotten children.
