True Mother calls us as Jesus did,
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,…
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
What is True Mother’s burden? National restoration by 2020.
Is this burden light?
Consider True Father’s words in 1971:
[True Parents] haven’t been able to restore the nation and the world yet. …If, during our lifetime, we cannot restore the nation and the world, then all our descendants will have to pray to find out the way, and they will have to become sacrifices in order to restore the nation and the world.
In the New Testament Age, national restoration arrived after Jesus departed.
It appeared through his Bride, the Holy Spirit. And today, with a strategic focus never before seen, the Bride is intent on national restoration—seven nations by 2020.
Jesus said that he was departing so that the Holy Spirit could come:
I am going to do what is best for you. That is why I am going away. The Holy Spirit cannot come to help you until I leave. But after I am gone, I will send the Spirit to you.
Because the people did not accomplish their responsibility, Jesus had no physical Bride. He departed in order to send his spiritual Bride, the Holy Spirit.
True Father proclaimed True Mother for twenty years, but we did not accomplish our responsibility. We did not know her. Only when True Father departed did we realize True Mother’s power.
With a creative, strategic focus never before seen, the Only Begotten Daughter is carrying forth the mission of the Holy Spirit—national restoration, seven nations by 2020.
A man is identified by his wife, and the woman is identified by her husband.
Jesus testified that “The Spirit shows what is true and will come and guide you into the full truth.”
True Father testified, “You are not complete until you marry. A man is identified by his wife, and the woman is identified by her husband.”
As we know Jesus through the Holy Spirit, we know True Father through True Mother. They complete each other. If we don’t know her, we never really knew him.
Because of their perfect love for each other, True Parents’ burden is light. Let us take her yoke upon us and learn from her.
