In the Principle’s human body model for government, God corresponds to the brain, and His desires are received as “subtle commands …through Christ, who corresponds to the spinal cord, and God-loving leaders, who correspond to the peripheral nervous system.” So the buck stops at the brain, which in Cheon Il Guk is the Supreme Council. The Council is responsible to evoke the desires of God to office-holders and leaders of family, tribe and organizations. God’s desires, commanding in their subtlety, shape us as “one integrated and interdependent society.”
